I think the same thing each time I look at those stats. My own words are often far too idle(or should I say idol…?)
Yet, I read some blogs that others would point to as idle, and from them I glean a greater understanding of God or a deeper sense of my own depravity. These blogs may someday be deleted under the belief that it is pointless, and the makers may never know what glory to God has been demonstrated by the testimony of thier own human experience. Others write, and through thier writing, conclude that they are in need of rescue from thier own self.
To these I say “blog on, and to God be the glory.”
Amen… There are definately redemptive aspects to speech, but then it becomes no longer idle – and thus productive. God Himself is always speaking, yet there is nothing idle about it.
Let our speech (and writing) always be seasoned as with salt – imparting grace to those who hear/read what we have to say.

Ron…. blessings to you bro through Christ Jesus. I pray for your endurance in your role in the prayer room. I have been so blessed by the ministry. Wow! What an honor it is to serve Him!…..Ok, I have a really surface level question that might seem a little superficial, but I really don’t know how else to ask. There is a keys player that sits in on sessions with you (blonde hair), and he uses his mac to control the sounds and sequences he’s playing. My question is, what software is he using? I hope I haven’t defiled the blog with that question.(haha) I appreciate any light you could shed on this question. We are in the process of small beginnings here in South Louisiana with a house of prayer connected to our church. My spirit completely resonates with the ministry there in Kansas City, and we’re raising up a furnace here as well. It’s exciting! Thank you so much!
@Trey – I currently have 2 keys players on my team. They both run Abelton Live as their host with various patch programs. The one they both love the most is called Omnisphere by a company called Spectrasonics. I think they may use Reason and other varied instrument simulators.
Blessings in your small beginnings, it is awesome and encouraging to hear from those whom the Lord is stirring to venture into night and day prayer. Keep it up!

Hi Ron,
I’m Chris Carter, leader of a small house of prayer called LivingStone House of Prayer in Newport News, VA.
I’ve really enjoyed your sets this summer. I am particularly fond of a song I’ve heard you do – sounds like a hymn. The words have the phrase “faithful and secure” and “as long as I endure.”
Is this an original? If so, I’d love the chord chart for it.
Thanks for leading out in worship and prayer.
Chris CArter
